RecView provides integrated processing and analysis capability for virtually any set of sonar systems. This includes any combination of towed array(s), hull-mounted sonar(s), and/or sonobuoys regardless of configuration or operating frequencies.

RecView presents data in an intuitive format and runs on commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware designed for regular upgrades to avoid obsolescence issues.

Description

  • Process data from virtually any passive sonar system including towed/linear arrays, hull-mounted sonar / cylindrical arrays, DIFAR sonobuoys, and broadband hydrophones
  • Receive sonar data in a variety of standardized formats or via purpose-built plugins
  • Processing can be quickly optimized for detection of submarines, torpedoes, surface ships, marine-mammal vocalizations, and transients
  • Perform concurrent passive and active processing including:
    • Narrowband, broadband, transient, and DEMON processing for ten or more concurrent resolutions
    • FM, CW, or custom waveform processing as monostatic, bistatic, or multistatic sonar
  • Use powerful analysis tools for examining harmonic relationships to support real-time classification and intelligence extraction
  • User friendly and easy to learn and use
  • Variants of this system design are available for post-analysis and intelligence extraction or embedded low-power autonomous processing
  • RecView runs on commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware and is designed for regular upgrades to avoid obsolescence issues
  • System can be scaled to the computing power and display size available on the target platform
