For over two decades, we have been meeting the needs of our customers as designers and manufacturers of hydrophones and sound projectors as well as consultants on the integration and testing of acoustic systems. GeoSpectrum supplies its products to the oil and gas, defence and surveillance and environmental sectors. We produce standard products that can be found on this site, but excel at producing specialty products to your requirements at short notice and at affordable prices. We also provide consulting services and have designed transducers for a number of customers for their own manufacture.

With our recent acquisition of sonar processing software company Akoostix Inc., we are now a leading provider of specialized surveillance software for a variety of applications including military sonar (multistatic-active, passive, mine hunting), marine mammal monitoring, and ocean observation. In addition, we are now positioned to provide integrated, end to end sonar systems, including the winch and handling system.

GeoSpectrum designs and manufactures the components listed on this website and continues to design new components to meet customers requirements. We have an extensive range of equipment and procedures to test our products. These include pressure and environmental chambers, and calibration equipment that is NIST traceable. Our qualification test procedures are designed to identify weaknesses in a design and to ensure that the final design meets its specification. GeoSpectrum also has a production facility capable of manufacturing over 1,000 hydrophones per day.
