The principals of GeoSpectrum have a combined five decades of experience in underwater transducers and their integration into acoustic systems. This experience lets us foresee when acoustic interactions between transducers and adjacent structures are going to degrade system performance. Over the years, we have found that we provide greatest value if you provide us with your general requirements and we advise you on the optimum approach to take. Good advice at the outset of a project will save time and money.
As well as advising you on the initial concept to pursue, we can also do FE modeling to optimize the transducer and system design and to provide guidance on what to expect from acoustic calibrations. Without knowing “the answer”, it is easy to make mistakes and produce great-looking, but highly-misleading, calibration results. In order to have full control over our calibrations, GeoSpectrum developed its own portable calibration system.
GeoSpectrum has experience in both Military and Commercial work for large and competing clients and will protect your IP. Technical employees at GeoSpectrum are cleared with the Canadian government, and our facility has been audited by the Canadian Controlled Goods Directorate for handling of Controlled Goods.
